Friday, 13th September
3-5:30pm : Welcome Home Reception and Launch by Ambassador Loyola Hearn
Ambassador and Mrs Loyola Hearn will arrive by horse-drawn carriage to steps of Coollattin House where they will be welcomed by ‘Lord Fitzwilliam’ and his guests. Everyone is welcome to Coollattin Golf Club to watch the arrival of the Ambassador . Weather permitting , the Launch Ceremony including guest speakers and music, will take place outside on the steps of Coollattin House.

Ormond Family (Carnew) – Canada Come Home
The Ormonds have a long history in Carnew / Coollattin and it will be wonderful to reconnect and celebrate our common heritage. Many thanks to Lynne Reece Loftus for making this whole experience a reality.
According to our research, Andrew Ormond and Margaret John(s) had 3 children, Andrew (died 1897), William (1831-1903) and James (1835-1887).
A Druid at Coollattin?
A Druid at Coollattin? Rory Morahan, The Druid Chef, from Bray, Co. Wicklow, will be bringing ancient Irish cooking skills to Canada Come Home with demonstrations on Sat and Sun. Watch for times, coming shortly.
